A quartet of playoff-bound Chronicle Country teams made the final SC Basketball Coaches Association Top 10 rankings.
The 3-time defending Class 2A champion Gray Collegiate finished the season as it started as the top-ranked team in its classification.
Both Irmo teams ranked 2nd and 8th, respectively, in Class 4A. Both Dylan Williams and Juice Keitt were named to the All-Region 4-4A team and head coach Tim Whipple was named co-coach over the year with AC Flora’s Josh Staley.
Defending Class 5A Lower State champion Dutch Fork finished 4th and River Bluff 9th in Class 5A. Gators’ forward Myles Jenkins was named the Region 5-5A Player of the Year and was joined on the All-Region team by teammate Malachi Reeves.
The Silver Foxes had 3 players named - Houston Jones, Jarvis Green and Jordan-Snipe Campbell and head coach Brett Jones was named Coach of the Year. Rounding out the All-Region team were Henry Haigler and AJ Knight (both of Chapin), Cam Scott and Zavier Measmer (both of Lexington) and LJ Curry and Jaylen Ray (both of White Knoll).
