Irmo High will host Saturday’s S.C. High School League lacrosse championships.
On Tuesday, the Chapin girls and Dutch Fork boys were playing at W.C. Hawkins Stadium for a title game berth at home.
The Lady Eagles (12-2) played host to Christ Church (10-5) in the Class 4A Upper State. It’s the second straight year the two teams have met in the state semifinals, with Chapin winning last year 15-6.
The Lady Eagles also won the March 28 meeting 11-3 in Greenville. The winner faces either defending champion Bishop England or Hilton Head at 4 p.m. Saturday.
