Chapin Stays Number One in S.C. High School Golf Coaches Assocation Rankings

Fresh off winning the inaugural Lexington County Invitational, the Chapin boys are still riding high in the rankings.

The Eagles are No. 1 in Class 5A, according to the S.C. High School Golf Coaches Association. In winning the event, Chapin placed ahead of runner-up and fifth-ranked River Bluff and seventh-ranked Lexington.

Up next is the three-day Lake Murray Cup starting Monday, followed by the Southern Cross next weekend.

Gray Collegiate is the only other Chronicle Country team in the rankings at number five in Class 2A.
