Lexington golfers Molly Hardwick and Isabella Rawl placed in the Top 5 at the Women’s S.C. Golf Association State Amateur tournament at the Columbia Country Club.
Hardwick, who won the S.C. Junior Golf Association title earlier this year, shot a 3-day score of 217, 1 stroke ahead of Rawl. She tied with Emma Scimpf of Daniel Island Club in 3rd place.
Anna Morgan of Furman University beat out Savannah Hylton in a 2-round playoff to claim the 1st place trophy.
Lexington graduate Gracyn Burgess of Clemson University finished in 18th place with a score of 227.
Louise Givens of Country Club of Lexington placed 5th in the state division.
