It’s a rare night of heavy high school basketball action on Friday.
Of the 13 Chronicle Country schools in action, only 2 will play 1 varsity contest. 7th ranked Brookland-Cayce boys will play the 1st of 2 straight games when it travels to Fox Creek. On Saturday, the Bearcats play host to Class 4A number 1 Ridge View at 5 pm.
Meanwhile, 5th ranked Irmo girls head to Columbia to face 8th ranked AC Flora looking to avenge Tuesday’s loss.
Gilbert High School is the host side of WACH 57’s The Rush’s High School Game of the Week. It will face Swansea in a Region 5-3A doubleheader starting at 6 pm.
