Jeffery Curry-Prescott, 27, has been sentenced to 10 years incarceration for the burglary of a home in the New Friarsgate area of Irmo in Lexington County.
Curry-Prescott pled guilty this week in Lexington County General Sessions Court to the crime of Burglary – Second Degree (violent), which occurred on May 27, 2018.
Curry-Prescott stole an assault rifle from the home, a drum round magazine containing ammunition and the victim’s vehicle. He was identified by surveillance video from inside the residence.
He had prior convictions for accessory to a felony and entering a premises after warning.
This case was prosecuted by Deputy Solicitor Suzanne Mayes and Assistant Solicitor Luke Pincelli. The investigation was conducted by Inv. Kelly Mountzouros of the Irmo Police Department.
