Arrival From Sweden: The Music of ABBA (concert)
If you’re a fan of the Swedish pop band ABBA, who sold millions of albums around the world, you won’t want to miss this show at Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College (7300 College St. in Irmo). Arrival From Sweden faithfully recreates the band’s classic music, including hits like “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “Take A Chance On Me,” “Super Trouper” and many more. SC Pride President’s Ball
Famously Hot South Carolina Pride and Stone River (121 Alexander Rd. in West Columbia) present the SC Pride President’s Ball. Get ready for a fun and flashy evening of entertainment featuring an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and a headlining performance by A’keria C. Davenport. Friday — Sept. 22

Terror (concert)
The veteran hardcore punk band Terror plays at New Brookland Tavern (122 State St. in West Columbia). The band, which formed in 2002, will play classics off of seminal punk albums like “One With The Underdogs,” “Always The Hard Way,” “Total Retaliation” and more. Civil Remedy (concert)
LJ’s Par & Grill (381 Pilgrim Church Rd.) hosts a concert by the popular local country-rock band Civil Remedy. The band starts at 7:30 p.m. and this show is free to attend. Call (803) 356-4653 for more information.

Cornhole FUNraiser
If you love playing cornhole, then the Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) has the event for you. Their Cornhole FUNraiser lets you play a fun game for a good cause, helping raise money for the South Carolina Rural Water Association. This event kicks off at noon. Traces of Our Youth (concert)
Savage Craft Ale Works (430 Center St. in West Columbia) hosts a performance by the Georgia band Traces of Our Youth. The band, which plays hits and favorites from the ‘90s and ‘00s, calls themselves “Augusta’s best rock cover band.” Showtime is 7 p.m., and the band performs until 10 p.m. This show is free to attend. Watson Village (concert)
Saluda Shoals Park (5605 Bush River Rd. in Columbia) continues its Fall Music concert series with a performance by the soulful indie rock band Watson Village outdoors on the deck. Movies on the Mount
Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church (3011 Leaphart Rd. in West Columbia) kicks off its annual Movies on the Mount series, which runs every Saturday night from Sept. 22 through Nov. 10. Haywire (concert)

The Issacs (concert)
The Newberry Opera House (1201 McKibben St.) hosts a performance by The Isaacs on Friday, Sept. 22nd. The Aiken Community Theatre (126 Newberry St. SW) hosts a performance by Matt Vee on Thursday, Sept. 28th. Vee, the nephew of ‘60s pop star Bobby Vee, pays tribute to the great singer/songwriter Neil Diamond with a show called, “I Am, He Said.” Expect to hear hits and classics like “Solitary Man,” “Forever In Blue Jeans,” “Love On The Rocks,” and many more. Maddy Evonne (concert)
The Ross Centre Event & Venue Hall (1535 Russell St. in Orangeburg) is the place to be Sept. 28 for a one-of-a-kind concert experience: A Tiny Desk concert. This intimate, stripped-down show closely resembles the NPR music series, and it features soulful R&B and hip-hop from Maddy Evonne.
