The season of the “Stars and Stripes” for the Lexington County Blowfish will open with a bevy of events for fans in attendance.

The contest against the Forest City Owls marks the first Thirsty Thursday of the 2018 season. Fans will receive 1/2 off Bud, Bud Light and Stella.

In addition, a rare 1996 Dale Earnhardt Signature Series Monte Carlo will be on display outside the ballpark.

Gates for the season opener will open at 6 p.m. and the first pitch at 7:05 p.m.

Two nights later the first “Concert in the Sky” fireworks show will take place when the Blowfish take on the Owls again. In addition, children can go on the field before the game and play catch with the Blowfish players from 6-6:30 p.m.

Fireworks shows will take place following Friday and Saturday home games.

Season and single-game tickets are now available. Call (803) 254-FISH for more information or visit www.goblowfishbaseball.com.

All games can be heard once again on “The Lake” Z-93.1 FM.
